My Clinical Volunteer Experiences
My role as volunteer entails:
-Assist dietary department in delivering meal trays to patients in a 535-bed hospital;
-Obtain patients prescriptions from pharmacy;
-Assist hospital staff in sending specimen to the laboratory department;
-Address patients need and deliver information to the hospital staff.
My roles as Kitchen Assistant entails:
-Assist food service staff in preparing meals at the tray line;
-Serve foods to senior patients at Eight North cafeteria;
-Conduct tray line accuracy audit, Conduct temperature control logs;
-Evaluate the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point principles in cooking, cooling and tray line.
